Very good, the image bright and unfaded, some light spotting. The cardboard mount is undated, but there is no reason not to believe it to be roughly contemporary.  

A single proof print of one of the 87 woodcut illustrations that Edward Burne-Jones created for the Kelmscott Press edition of Chaucer's works, this illustrating p.446, a part of the The Legend of Goode Wimmen:

‘And out he caughte a knyf, as rasour kene; hyd this, quod he, that hit be nat ysene; and, when thyn husbond is to bedde ygo, whyl that he slepeth, cut his throte atwo’
