First Edition. Two Volumes. 4to. Some slight spotting to the title-page of the first volume and very occasional spotting throughout. Contemporary tree calf, covers with a gilt border, spines with elaborate gilt tooling and red morocco labels, gilt edges and original green ribbon markers (joints slightly worn, upper headcaps chipped, edges a little rubbed).
