First edition. With woodcut illustrations by the author. 16mo. (129 x 80 mm.) Colour illustration on dust wrapper using the publisher's original wood blocks of a church and village. With soft orange wrappers also illustrated with the same woodcut in black. Only very slightly browned and with some foxing within the text. A good copy. 32 pp. Favil Press. London.

The first in a series of 'Little Books' by the Hungarian artist and print maker George Buday, who published one of these 'Little Books' every year (apart from 1946) until 1955 running twelve books in total; all of them illustrated with these beautiful woodcuts by the author and featuring a different theme.
