'Glimpses of the East' was the official shipper's guide of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha, the present being the 10th annual issue. Richly illustrated throughout it includes chapters on China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, British India, Australia, British Columbia, United States etc. Of particular interest are the countless hotel and commercial adverts preceding each section.
