With wood engravings by Peter Barker-Mill. Sparmann joined Cook's second voyage on the Resolution at Table Bay as an assistant botanist to the Forsters (at the latter's expense). His narrative, published originally in parts in Stockholm is extremely rare and Owen Rutter's production was to be the first English edition. Du Rietz, 1231.
