A very handsome copy of this renowned book on fox-hunting. Smith was reputed to be the greatest fox hunter of his day. The nineteenth Lord Willoughby de Broke, another great hunter, later wrote, "No Master of Fox Hounds, alive or dead, has a greater right to be heard than Mr Thomas Smith".
