Rare four-sheet chart of the central part of the north-eastern coast of Scotland from Duncansby Head (John O'Groats) south to Helmsdale, and then the coast from Findhorn and Kinloss round to Petershead.

 

This chart is one of a sequence commissioned by Customs and Excise from John Ainslie, the foremost surveyor in private practice in Scotland at this time.
