[8], 468, xcix, [1, transcription of Locke's tombstone] pp. Contemporary calf, spine with five single raised bands outlined in gilt, the second panel lettered in gilt on morocco label, the rest tooled in gilt, red edges, marbled endpapers (boards slightly scuffed and marked, front joint split but firmly holding, headcap rubbed). Rotterdam, Fritsch & Böhm.

The first collected edition of Locke's works in French.
