Tissue-guard to the frontispiece slightly silverfished, with mild loss of surface size to the title page facing, but, other than this very selective nibbling, this is a very good copy indeed in the original black cloth gilt with portrait "medallion" gilt to the upper board. xii, 308pp. R.
