Inscribed by the author to a fellow poet: "For Jeremy Reed from David Gascoyne, December 1983". Loosely inserted is a Christmas card from the Gascoyne's to Reed. According to the printed colophon, this is one of 200 copies printed for the use of the author and the publisher, though it is numbered XII/XXX, so one might surmise that it is one of 30 copies for the author's use. A near fine copy.
