A Maze of Death.

DICK Philip K. (1972)

£250.00  [First Edition]

Available to view at our Curzon Street shop.

First edition. 8vo., original blue cloth, dust jacket. London, Eyre Methuen.

A fine copy in dust jacket of Dick's short and startling novel, with a fascinating foreword, the author giving the reader some guidance, describing how he and a collaborator put together a new religion, how he used Wagner as an inspiration, admitting that one of the characters in the book undergoes an LSD experience which he says is based on an experience of his own 'in exact detail', with the laconic finale 'Aramaic was the tongue that Christ spoke. There should be more like him'.
