Published 21 years after Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this is the facsimile of Carroll's original manuscript: "the germ that was to grow into the published volume" (v). It features 37 of Carroll's amateur but evocative drawings scattered across the text.

Very slight sunning to spine, a couple of minor marks to cloth and light rubbing to extremities, else binding near fine. A handful of Carroll's illustrations embellished with very faint neat later colouring. Still a very good copy overall.
