Cleve Jones is a well known American AIDS and LGBT rights activist, he conceived the NAMES Project's AIDS Memorial Quilt. Wong is an activist for Chinese-American rights. Denton Smith was a close friend to Milk and Medora was, at the time, a child campaigner volunteer. Nicoletta is a photographer and was a prominent member of Milk's campaign retinue.
