Beckett's own translation of his novel into French, although he did receive unacknowledged assistance from his friend Alfred Peron. 3000 copies were printed, but only 285 copies were sold, according to payments made to the author. The remaining sheets were purchased by Jerome Linden of Les Editions de Minuit and issued by them in their usual covers in 1953. Pages browning as ever, otherwise a near fine copy in glassine dust jacket.
