A map of government offices, companies, and shops in Beijing under Japanese occupation. This map of the walled city of Peking gives names of various Japanese government offices and shops together with their address and telephone numbers (still only 4 digits). An index at the bottom of the map is arranged by kanji according to the number of strokes. On verso is a directory Japanese government office company store guide list of Peking. The map contains more than 500 companies ranging from civil engineering and construction to theatres, pharmacies, restaurants and department stores. Various drawings such as Beijing train system diagram and public train route system diagram are listed at the bottom. 40 black-and-white photographs of shops and scenic spots are arranged around the front and back.
