"684" [i.e. 704]pp. Contemporary decorative limp vellum binding, very large decorative ornament in centre of sides, decorative corner-pieces, 2-line gilt fillet, name of author written across spine (two tiny pieces of vellum missing from front cover, slight wear to tope edge of lower cover).

A very finely bound copy of this popular devotional commentary on the passion by the preacher and controversialist Panigarola (1548-94), dedicated to Lucretia d'Este, duchess of Urbino.
