A rare undated edition of Maffei's work on the phenomena of natural history with sections on astronomy, comets, meteorology and other sciences, first published in 1563, also by Varisco, with all early editions being scarce. As Houzeau & Lancaster note, "L'ouvrage, qui est divisé en 14 `gradi', est consacré à l'exposition du système astronomique d'Aristotle. Le 14e et dernier chapitre traite du ciel des bienheureux."
