Six two-line initials in blue and red, alternating, on red and blue penwork backgrounds respectively.
Manuscript on vellum. Twenty-nine lines of text in two columns, black and red, in a neat, somewhat rounded gothic hand.
With text for prayers and service on Quinquagesima Sunday, the Sunday before Lent, and Ash Wednesday. Red text indicates chanting or reading instructions for the priest. Second to last line in both columns of verso contain crosses within the text in blue and red, which indicate for the priest to cross himself. Remnants of adhesive at head of recto, some rubbing of text.
