Rouen: E. V. Machuel [n.d. but

A handsomely-bound copy of a charming little almanac, intended for merchants and those in commerce in Rouen, for the year 1772. Contained within is a calendar for each month, with an accompanying list of markets and fairs for each day of the month on the opposing page; they are not solely local fairs, but national, both large and small. Following the calendar is other 'useful' information, including notable birth dates, a list of specialist commerce in different areas of France; essential information about other countries of Europe; and the largest section, essential information about Rouen - its governor, council and administrators, markets in the area arranged by month, lists of local tradesmen and their six trade bodies (Mercers & Drapers, Apothecaries, Furriers, Bonnet-makers, and Gold- and silversmiths), and so on.
