Very rare and apparently only edition of this polemic directed against the views on justification of Andreas Osiander (1498-1552); it is one of the earliest tracts in the so-called "Osiandrische Streit" which exercised for a long time the minds of many Protestants. The author had studied at Ingolstadt, Leipzig and Wittenberg, where he had become an intimate acquaintance of Melanchthon.
