Verona, Giannalberto Tumermani,

A handsome book. La Bella Mano of Conti (Rome 1390- Rimini 1449) was first published in 1472 in Bologna (ISTC no ic00786000) and reprinted in Venice in 1474 and 1492. The earlier Veronese edition is dated 1750. This critical edition gives us the corrections and notes of Jacopo Corbinelli transcribed from his copy of the 1595 Paris edition of the work. The 24 sonnets of G.A. Romanello (see DBI) are here reprinted from the very rare Verona edition of about 1479 (ISTC ir00315500).

Title-leaf slightly soiled.
