Please contact us in advance if you would like to view this book at our Curzon Street shop.
Programme for a concert held at Buckingham Palace, printed in purple ink on white, the lion and unicorn royal crest embossed at the top in gold, red and blue. The text is surrounded by a wide lacy floral border.
9¾ x 8 ins, Buckingham Palace, 3 June 1887.
The programme, for a concert held just over a fortnight before the Queen's official Golden Jubilee celebrations, includes Arias from Gluck's Orfeo, as well as Lohengrin, Der Freischutz, La Cenerentola and Auber's Fra Diavolo.
A very attractive programme, in virtually pristine condition.
