Gus Harding

Philosophy & Economics

Gus Harding specialises in the broad fields of philosophy, economics and the social sciences, with a particular emphasis on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries (from Hegel onwards). 

In 2018 he issued the first specialist philosophy catalogue in the  firm’s history, before which the index to the Catalogue of Maggs Catalogues contained a conspicuous gap between ‘Peru’ and ‘Photography’.

Gus issues annual general catalogues in philosophy and economics as well as occasional specialist lists and catalogues, such as the forthcoming ‘Marx in Translation’.
