Signed by the author on the title page, with a 20-page introduction by him and further, separate, notes on the music and the vehicles deployed in the play. Directed by Nicholas Hytner, it was first performed at The Queen's Theatre, London on November 19th 1999, with the redoubtable Maggie Smith in the title role. A fine copy.
