First edition, later issue, in the Notes in Smith Charles Dickens in the Original Cloth p.27, this copy is listed as Copy B with the undated engraved titlepage with the Chapman and Hall Piccadilly imprint, also the plates do not have the Chapman and Hall imprint. 8vo., original green blindstamped cloth, spine rebacked with original spine laid down, spine darkened, occasional mild dampstaining. Ownership inscripiton of David Attenboroguh dated August 1945. London, Chapman & Hall, 193, Piccadilly. n.d. [1837].
