Gogarty discusses arrangements for himself and, later, Lord Dunsany's visit to the United States: "Already I have written to Dunsany to say that you wished to entertain him as the Coffee House Club had entertained him of yore. I said that the club was a suburb of you". The letter in excellent state, the poem in similar condition, on a torn portion of paper folded once and initialled by the author.
