This new edition contains a supplement of nine items acquired beween 1999 and Sir Paul Getty's death in 2004, including a First Folio edition of Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories and Tragedies (1623), Italian Renaissance manuscripts from the Holkham Hall Library and 20th-century calligraphic manuscripts commissioned by C. H. St.John Hornby.
