The first issue with "A Flood in the Office" not cancelled. Kirkpatrick (A18) writes: "The inclusion of 'A Flood in the Office' led to a libel action. The publishers' unsold copies and those returned by booksellers in mint condition were re-issued with the offending article, pp. 278-281, removed and a cancel inserted".
