japanese PHOTOBOOKS & GRAPHIC DESIGNFor over eight years Maggs has been dealing in the field of Japanese photobooks, as well as items relating to Japanese graphic design. Titus Boeder is one of the leading experts in this field, having built and sold a number of important collections to private collectors and institutions. We have a large stock of books & magazines from both the pre-war and the post-war period covering most fields of artistic expression in Japan. While most dealers in the West have tended to concentrate on photographers from the Provoke and VIVO schools we feel that there are equally exciting and challenging photographers in the preceeding as well as the following periods. Over the years we have been able to build strong connections with bookdealers and collectors in Japan which enables us to cater to the specific needs of our clients within a relatively short timeframe. Only a very small number of our titles are currently listed online, but interested customers should email titus@maggs.com for more information about our current stock. |
