Maggs Bros Rare Books & First Editions
RSS (which stands for "Really Simple Syndication") feeds are an excellent way to keep up to date with all kinds of information sources (blogs, news, the weather, discussions, etc). When you subscribe to this RSS feed, you'll get the most recent additions to this department delivered to your RSS Reader. You can subscribe to any number of RSS feeds and view them all in your RSS Reader without having to revisit the site.
Maggs.com has several RSS Feeds available. Each department has its own, (listed at the bottom of this page); furthermore, whenever you carry out a search of the database, you can choose to add a feed for that search to your reader - that way, when we add any titles which match your query you'll be the first to hear about it..
If you would like to learn more about RSS and how to use it, you
could visit this
article, or MSN's
help topic on the subject. For Windows users we recommend Google
Desktop or the simple but effective SharpReader.
RSS support is built in to Mac's Safari Browser - when an RSS Feed
is available, you will see an "RSS" icon at the top of
your browser window. Mac users can find useful information at about.com.
Mac users will find useful information at about.com.
If you already have an RSS reader, just paste the URL you want into its address bar. If you are using of Google's Deskbar, click the link and the feed will be automatically added to the "Web Clips" section. Browsers using Safari should click the link and add it to your bookmarks.
