The Story of the Second Punjab Regiment, 1761-1947. Second Edition. Coloured portrait frontispiece, twenty other plates, three of them coloured, nine folding maps. Very good in the original green cloth in dust-jacket, slightly sunned at the spine, small chip at the head. xiv, 330pp. Printed for the 2nd Punjab Regiment Officers Association, New Delhi,

Perkins p.449: "... traces the stories of all of the regts and Bns which, from 1761 onwards, evolved into the 2nd Punjab Regt. The early years are covered in informative style, but half of the pages are devoted to services in WWII and it is here that the greatest detail is found. The author does not focus entirely upon battles and skirmishes. He also paints a clear picture of other important matters such as recruiting policy, class/race compositions, the Regtal Centre, Stations, movements, and so forth."
