An unauthorised edition by the Fortune Press, who had printed the first edition in 1945. An estimated total of 500 copies were printed before Larkin learned of the edition and demanded the books be withdrawn from sale. The collection was then reprinted with the authors consent by Faber and Faber in the following year.
A very fine copy in a very good dust jacket, only slightly toned with some trivial wear to extremities.
