Another edition in the same year cites 'Terts' i.e. Sinyavksy as the primary author.A seminal text from a defining moment in the origins of Russian Dissidence when two principals in the struggle against Russian Communism were accused of anti-Soviet activities. The Sinyavsky-Daniel show trial of 1965-1966 is considered to be the moment at which the Russian dissident movement was born.
