A poetical miscellany dedicated to the memory of Francesco Medici (1594-1614). There are poems by Alessandro Adimari, Andrea Salvadori, Baldovino di Monte Simoncelli, Carlo Bocchineri, Francesco Folchi, Francesco Bracciolini, Gabriel Chiabrera, Giulio Rutati, Annibali Gherardi, Giulio Carroli, Girolamo Bartolomei, Jacopo Franceschi, Ottavio Rinuccini and Francesco Maria Gualterotti.

Between quires K and L (pages 72 and 73) are inserted 4 leaves (signed A (altered to L) which contain the first part of a poem by Michelangelo Buonarotti on the death of his brother Fra Francesco in Malta. The poem in all occupies pp. 1-8, 73-76, i.e. 12 pages. The author was the nephew of the great artist and editor of his uncle's poetry in 1615.
