Frankfurt: Erasmus Kempfer for G. Tampach,

In 1596 Kepler published his Mysterium cosmographicum,  a major statement of the Copernican position.  This is the second edition and has various additions (some also found in the 1596 edition), which make the work a very useful compilation of astronomical knowledge and the Copernican theory. In addition to Kepler's text, it includes the Narratio prima of Rheticus (pp. 89 -143, first published in Gdansk in 1540) which has its own title-page on p. 89, with the famous Copernican heliocentric diagram on p. 112. This is followed by the Praises of Prussia (Borussiae encomium) of 1539 (also by Rheticus), and 'De dimensionibus orbium et sphaerarum coelestium iuxta tabulas Prutenicas, ex sententia Nicolai Copernici' by Maestlin (pp. 149-163).

Fludd's Veritatis proscenium . . . seu demonstratio quaedam analytica, in qua cuilibet comparationis particulae, in appendice quadam a J. Kepplero, nuper in fine harmoniae suae mundanae edita, facta inter harmoniam suam mundanam, et illam R. F., ipsissimis veritatis argumentis respondetur,  was published in 1621. After Kepler's answer, which is dated 1  August, 621,  Fludd replied with Monochordum mundi replicatio R. F. . . . ad apologiam . . . J. Kepleri adversus demonstrationem suam analyticam nuperrime editam, in qua Robertus validoribus Joannis objectionibus harmoniae suae legi repugnantibus, comiter respondere aggreditur, Frankfurt, 1622.
