Illuminated leaf from a Book of Hours. Flanders, c. (1450.)
Three-line initial "R" painted in blue and decorated with delicate red penwork which extends into the margin to form an almost full border, one-line initials in red and blue alternately.Size of leaf: 175 x 130mm. 18 lines of text in a gothic hand.
The text is from psalm 118, vv. 11-29. In excellent condition, with text written in a strong black ink.
