b7-line historiated initial of King David pointing to his mouth and looking up to God whose face appears in the clouds; blue and pink bar border extension. Two-line illuminated initials in red and blue alternately with contrasting calligraphic penwork, one-line initials in red or blue.Size of leaf: 195 x 140mm. 37 lines of text in a small gothic hand in brown ink; double columns.

From a manuscript said to be from the Library at Raglan Castle, which was built by members of the Herbert family in the 15th century but largely destroyed following a siege in the Civil War in 1646. A little worn.Text: Psalm 36, vv. 6-12, psalms 37-38, psalm 39, vv. 1-6.
