Robert Harding runs the early English department at Maggs, which handles books before about 1800, but as with all departments here, the boundaries are ill-defined and porous. He's an expert on, inter alia, the etcher Wenceslaus Hollar, on whom he contributed the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. He is a member of the Society of Antiquaries and a stalwart of the Savile Club.
