Somehow, Anthony arrived at Maggs at the beginning of 2008 to run the accounts department and, as Company Secretary, take responsibility for many areas of the administration of the firm.

Before Maggs he spent over twenty five years as Finance Director and Company Secretary of Partridge Fine Arts. He is thus not only widely experienced in all aspects of accounting for things ancient and modern but also in handling the particular nature of dealers.

In the real world his passions are cricket, rugby and fly fishing.
